For God has said Isaiah 43:19
“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
My spirit kept whispering to me about the birthing of a minimalist and what it means. This is a time where you decide it’s necessary to simplify your life by focusing on what truly matters to you and letting go of excess possessions, distractions, and commitments. It's about prioritizing experiences, relationships, and personal growth over material possessions and clutter.
This journey started at the age of forty and during this time I come to realise I was truly distracted with so many projects and what I thought had been assignments. Let me note that those things that where an assignment did flourish and has bared good fruit. Those which served as a distraction lingered and made every attempt to pull me in the wrong direction BUT GOD is always faithful…
Here we are almost 7 years later accepting and embracing becoming just that a “minimalist”…. Reminding myself that I’ve had it all but nothing has ever for filled me as does the Lord.
